The Christmas Canadian Pet Expo 2024 was abuzz with excitement as pet groomers showcased their talents in the OPAWZ Canada Creative Grooming Contest! This festive dog grooming competition highlighted the skills involved in seasonal grooming, where professionals used safe pet hair dye and innovative styling techniques to transform their dogs into holiday masterpieces.

We are thrilled to announce the winners of the OPAWZ Canada Creative Grooming Contest 2024!

1st Place Winner: Janice P. Andress

Janice amazed the judges with her SpongeBob character design on her dog, Stella. This intricate creation was brought to life using OPAWZ Permanent Dog Hair Dye, a trusted Canadian brand for safe pet hair dye in the grooming community. Janice’s design was a true masterpiece of creative grooming—congratulations on your well-deserved win!

2nd Place Winner: Nikki Trenton

Nikki’s Grinch Christmas design left everyone in awe! Her skilful use of OPAWZ safe dog hair dye and her ability to create the illusion of a floppy Santa hat on her dog, Indie, made this design a perfect blend of creative grooming and holiday spirit. Fantastic job, Nikki!

3rd Place Winner: Linda Sayer

Linda showcased her creativity and dog grooming skills with a delightful Nutcracker design, also created with OPAWZ Permanent Dog Hair Dye. A fun fact about this look: Linda collected red hair from trimming Harrison's jacket to create holly berries on his front left shoulder entirely from dog hair! This unique approach demonstrates the resourcefulness and ingenuity that makes creative grooming so exciting.
