Preparation for color is extremely important and can make or break your creative design. Here are some simple steps that will ensure you get your desired look.
Do A Test Strip
Take a small sample of hair from an area that will not matter (i.e. inside of leg, middle of chest), band it and clip it off. Place a foil down and apply desired color, allow it to sit for 15 minutes, then rinse. This will help you choose a desired shade. OPAWZ pet hair dye colors are extremely versatile, you can add OPAWZ Dilution Cream if you prefer a lighter color, or mix in a darker shade for a deeper color.

Use A Clarifying Shampoo for Dog Bathing
For the best color outcome, have your pet bathed preferably in a clarifying shampoo, complete dry and brushed out. If your pet is fairly clean you may skip the bathing step, just know if there is oil built up near the skin it will not cover as well.
OPAWZ Funky Color Shampoo is super-fast and effective.
Just shampoo in and allow to sit 10 to 20 minutes for desired shade. The longer the sitting time, the brighter the final color. You can re-apply the colors to obtain more richness of color. Keep in mind that the coat also needs to be clean for the colors to set well.

OPAWZ Pet Hair Dye Is Best Applied With A Dye Brush.
If you are doing a design with the dog hair color dye, clip off the area you do not want colored with hair clips, and brush in the OPAWZ dye from the middle out and fold in the fur as you go. If you are doing multiple colors, you can place foil over the dye, clip it off and move onto next section to be colored. When rinsing, do one section at a time with as high of water pressure possible, shampoo and rinse again. Towel dry immediately to prevent any colors from running.
